Authentic, Compassionate Therapy
for Women and Teens
Come as you are.
Hello! I’m Beth.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor, but you might also call me a self-compassion encourager, a listening (truly listening) ear, and a holder of space for hope and healing. Therapy is a place I'll invite you to show up exactly as you are. No matter what you’re experiencing, I create a safe, comfortable, and accepting space for you to fully experience it without judgment. I'll meet you where you're at and support you in growing towards where you want to go.
Services
for Teens
With over 10 years working with teens and their families, I have a deep appreciation for both the gifts and challenges of these developmental years. It’s a time of great expansion, creativity and possibility, and, it can also be filled with turbulence, pressure and emotional ups and downs. I see a culture today that puts incredible amounts of pressure on teens to flourish, be their best, and achieve great things, while not providing enough tools and support to learn to navigate by their own north star. I create a space for my teen clients to feel seen, heard, understood and honored, while helping them move toward growth, healing and their sense of wholeness.
for Adults
Turning inward is rarely easy. And, I whole-heartedly believe that the presence, joy and aliveness you are seeking is patiently waiting to be found.
I create a compassionate space for individuals:
looking to understand who they are and why they do what they do
struggling with recurring behaviors or thought patterns that aren’t serving themselves or their relationships
desiring freedom from negative self-talk and increased self-compassion
who are grieving, changing, or seeking meaning in life
Brainspotting
Brainspotting is a brain-body based therapy that is a powerful tool for lasting healing. Current research in neuroscience reveals that painful memories can get stuck in the non-verbal, non-cognitive subcortical brain which diminishes our ability to live fully in the here and now. Brain-body based therapy is the fastest-growing field of trauma treatment because of its proven ability to rapidly address issues that traditional talk therapy takes longer to resolve.
Brainspotting can be effective in treating many different issues, and can also be an effective tool for creativity, performance, and expansion.
“Your vision will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.”
